- As per the SB order 08/2015 dated 10/07/2015 cash handling limit raised to 20000/- this is applicable to both SAS and MPKBY agents.
- It was clarified by the Postal Directorate regarding the enhancement of cash handling limit for authorized postal agents(SAS and MPKBY)
- Necessary modifications also done in the Finacle application and the agents can prepare the list upto Rs 20000/- in the portal now and the same can be posted in the Finacle application.

NSS Closure Procedure in DOP Finacle
PROCEDURE FOR CLOSURE OF NSS87 ACCOUNTS
- If customer submits, 15G/15H update the same in CASBAM and verify; if not submitted, TDS recovery has to be done
- Account closure to be attempted in HCAAC
- If there is message to collect TDS charges, user has to check HACLI for the account and ensure interest amount is calculated and posted. In case of heavy loads on the server , the generation of interest might take some time, (10-15 minutes.)
- If HCACC is attempted before interest is posted, error message will be displayed in HCACC "Run HACINT"; do not report this as an error.
- After ensuring that interest is posted, Collect charges using HCACC and then proceed for closure in HCAAC.

Clarification for Refund of default fee for MPKBY agents in DOP Finacle
- When the Finacle or Agent portal is down on 15th or last working day of a month the system will calculate default fee for late submission.
- The concerned CBS post office should calculate the default fee charged by the system and concerned Postmaster should write error book regarding the non functioning of Finacle CBS duly attested copy should be forwarded to Divisional head.
- The error entry should be sent along with print out of the mail sent to CPC reporting the non functioning of Finacle to Divisional Head.
- The concerned Divisional Head will refund the default fee to the MPKBY agents only after clarification of the facts about the non functioning of Finacle.
- This has been approved by DDG(FS).

Revised Re-investment procedure in DOP Finacle
- Previously we use to credit the total maturity amount in the office account 0387 and debit from the same in order to open a new account.
- Now as per the SB Order 07/2015 Scenario 14 re-investment of matured amount in CBS post offices should be done by crediting into customer's SB account only.
- Kindly stop using the office account 0387 for re-investment of matured accounts in CBS Post Offices.
- As per the SB order 07/2015 Scenario 14 follow the following procedure for re-investment of matured amount in CBS Post Offices.
Revised Re-investment Process
- When a customer wants re-investment from one scheme maturity value to another scheme, customer should be asked if he/she has a Savings Account in any CBS Post Office.
- If Yes, then signature in that account available in the system should be tallied with the signature on the Closure Form.
- If Not, customer should be asked to pen a new savings account under the same CID(fresh KYC documents and Form should be taken if account/certificate matured belong to Pre-migration period).
- Customer should write on the receipt side of the Account Closure Form or Certificate, the amount to be re-invested, name of scheme and Savings Account number under his/her signatures.
- In case of new AOF presented for re-investment, under the field "Mode of Deposit", he/she has to write savings account number.In such case, no separate withdrawal form is required to be given and this transaction should be treated as non-cash transaction for the purpose of eligibility of commission to agents(if AOF contains details of agent).
- Once Postmaster/Sub Postmaster is sure about the genuineness of the depositor (from signatures/photograph /any other identification), total maturity value+interest should be credited into that Savings Account and then amount to be re-invested should be debited/withdrawn from this Savings Account and credited/deposited in the concerned new account while funding.
- No re-investment should be accepted if customer does not have a savings account in a CBS Post Office or customer is not ready to open new savings account, in such a case, payment should be made by Postmaster Cheque only.

Reversal procedure for excess commission recovery procedure in Finacle
This scenario will be faced in real scenario in the following situations.
- When an account is opened with a wrong agent instead of other agent.
- When an agent account opened with wrong deposit amount
- When an agent account opened with wrong date of opening(value date)
- When an agent account is opened twice due to error "couldn't get response from error"
In the above cases excess commission will be credited hence we have to reverse it.In order to do reversal first identify the transaction id by inquiring the wrongly credited agent SB account in the ledger click on transaction date you can find the transaction id note it and inquire in HFTI giving the from date and to date as transaction date.In HFTI you will get three part transactions
- In first transaction SOLID+0251(system account) which is a commission account in finacle which will show total commission(with out deducting TDS) this is debit transaction(D)
- In second transaction agent SB account credited commission (after TDS deduction) this is credit transaction(C)
- IN third transaction SOLID+321(system account) which is TDS amount this is also credit transaction.(C)
For information please find the excess commission credited error screen.
Now we have to reverse the above transaction but as said above SOLID+0251 and SOLID+0321 are system accounts so we cannot perform reversal directly so we have to verify all the transactions and should log out all the users before EOD then send the error screen to DOP IT Chennai to make the said systemm accounts to convert as Non System accounts.Once you get approval from DOP IT use HTM constumer induced and do the reversal i.e
- First select credit give SOLID+0251 and then amount as you noted this should be credit transaction(C)
- Then click on add select debit give agent SB account and amount this should be debit transaction (D)
- Then again click on add select debit give SOLID+0321 and amount this should be debit transaction(D)
Then finally click on post note the transaction id and verify the same in supervisor login.
Then finally the most important activity is intimate that reversal has been done successfully message to DOP IT Chennai again to convert the said system accounts which was perviously made as non system accounts.
Once you get confirmation from DOP IT Chennai you can start EOD.

Error while modifying the expiry date of agent in DOP Finacle
ERROR WHILE MODIFYING THE EXPIRY DATE OF AGENT IN DOP FINACLE
- When we try to modify the expiry date of agent in the menu HDSAMM then the system will throw the error as mentined in the below figure.
The system will display the error "Unverified accounts exists for this direct selling agent" as mentioned in the above figure.

As per the scenario no 14 communicated vide SB order 6/2015 dated 09.06.2015 no withdrawal form is required to be obtained for mode of deposit by transfer from SB account in respect of re-investments and this transaction will be treated as non cash transaction.
1. It may please be clarified whether SB pay in slip is required to be collected OR NOT , when maturity amount of a scheme is transferred to SB account? It will be also be considered as NON CASH TRANSACTION.
2. Similarly whether pay in slip is required to be collected from the agents when agent commission is automatically deposited to their SB accounts and these transactions will also be treated as non cash transaction?
